2025 Black History & Heritage Presentation – Event Recap

The African Heritage Centre (AHC) proudly hosted its 2025 Black History & Heritage Presentation on Saturday, March 29, 2025, both live on Zoom and in person at the Spotlight Auditorium, Staples Studio, Oakville, Ontario.

This impactful event brought together community members and distinguished panelists to reflect on the rich heritage, journeys, and achievements of people of African descent across the globe. Through thoughtful discussions, the presentation addressed the enduring strengths that unite us and the shared challenges we continue to face.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us in person and virtually to make this event a success.
